SeaKeepers

SeaKeepers seeks to further ocean conservation by connecting private yacht owners with the oceanic research groups, and aims to provide students around the world with educational resources and experiences in order to promote ocean conservation. The organization engaged with over 2,000 students and 50 schools in 2023 via their Floating Classrooms programs. Oceanographic researchers and conservationists can apply to SeaKeepers’ DISCOVERY Yacht Program, providing a cost-effective method to conduct over 180 research expeditions in the organization's lifetime, including shark tagging, coral reef sampling, and cetacean research. The International SeaKeepers Society also leads people around the world in engaging with the coastal environment, whether it’s coordinating beach cleanups or outsourcing oceanic depth measurements.
